Hello Mews community,
We would like to comment on COVID-19 (the Coronavirus), which has tragically turned into a global pandemic. First and most importantly, our thoughts go out to you, your family and your community. Health and safety is obviously the highest priority for everyone right now.
We want to assure you that the Mews team is fully operational during this time, and ready to support you. Out of an abundance of caution, we have the entire company working from home so we can reduce the exposure of our teams. We’re a global company so every Mews team is able to work effectively from remote locations. Customer support and account management are available to you 24/7 in all regions. As a reminder, our contact numbers can be found here.
Our teams are also ready to assist in any way we can. Every industry has been impacted by this situation, but the travel bans have been particularly painful for the hospitality sector. As many of us at Mews are coming from the hotel industry, we have a number of ideas for how you can weather this storm. If you haven’t contacted your account manager, please take a moment to do this. We can’t cure this virus, but we can offer suggestions for areas like system optimization, cancellations, cash flow, pricing and promotions that could be helpful.
Additionally, we’re partnering with an incredible team of consultants and thought leaders from the hotel industry who will share the latest data and actionable insights with the Mews community. On 25 March at 3:00pm CET / 10:00am EDT, please join us (online) for this exceptional event with speakers like Robin Rossmann, Managing Director of STR, Andre Guettouche, Chief Operating Officer of Freehand Hotels, and Thibault Catala, Founder of Catala Consulting.
All attendees will be able to participate in a live Q&A. Register here for this must-attend event.
Finally, stay safe. We’re counting the days until this crisis is behind us, and we can all take a well-earned vacation in your hotel.
