There are few things more exciting in the world of hospitality when two of the most exciting brands get together, and that’s exactly what happened recently when The Leading Hotels of the World announced Mews as one of their official preferred PMS vendors.

For those who don’t know, The Leading Hotels of the World (or LHW, for the sake of brevity) is a collection of over 400 luxury hotels across 80 countries, each of which is unique and embodies their destination. This is typically through a combination of design, immersive culture experience, and unrivalled hospitality.

“To have the chance to work with some of the world’s most illustrious properties is a huge honor,” said Richard Valtr, Mews Founder. “LHW and their network share the passion that we have for the creation of remarkable journeys and unforgettable experiences, and we are proud that we will be powering some of the world’s most incredible properties. ”

Technology and efficiency were also at the heart of LHW’s decision. “We are focused on building a technology stack that our hotels can leverage to drive their digital transformation,” said Michael Lederman, Vice President of Information Technology at LHW. “Next generation, API driven cloud PMS platforms provide the foundation needed to improve efficiency and meet the expectations of tech-savvy guests.”

We’re no stranger to The Leading Hotels of the World here at Mews. In fact, several LHW properties have been powered by Mews for a while now. For instance, the Hôtel de luxe Airelles Château de Versailles, Le Grand Contrôle, which is the first luxury hotel within the famous palace and grounds. Or Lily of the Valley, a stunning five-star hotel near Saint-Tropez with a focus on wellness.

As Mews is cloud-native, we’ve been able to build a Marketplace and Open API of almost unlimited connectivity. This gives any LHW property the ability to curate the technology that works best for their concept and processes, flexibility that will ultimately benefit their guests.

“Mews is a great fit for The Leading Hotels of the World,” said Matt Welle, Mews CEO. “By automating lots of the time-consuming, administrative manual tasks, teams will have a lot more time to focus on providing a more personalized, attentive service to their guests. Ultimately, it’s this seamless, tailored experience that sets luxury hotels apart.”

In the coming months and years, we hope to welcome many more LHW properties to Mews, and by extension enable remarkable experiences for countless guests.
