To support the delivery of our services, Mews engages and uses service providers that have access to certain personal data. A third-party sub-processor is a service that we, as a data processor, utilize to deliver services to our Partners (hotels) who are data controllers.
Residency depends on the Mews product and customer configuration, with data hosted in either the European Union or the United States (see Deployment Regions for regional details).
In certain cases, Mews engages certified implementation partners who provide professional consultation and deployment services to specific hotels that purchase these services from Mews. These partners may access personal data stored in the hotel's Mews environment as part of their deployment or configuration activities. The specific partner and their location varies based on Partner location and service requirements. Mews requires all such partners to comply with applicable data protection requirements and to process personal data only to the extent necessary for the services provided.
