The aparthotel operator selected Mews as the operating system for its next phase of growth, marking a new step in Mews’s expansion in Mexico

[Dallas, 3rd November 2026] ULIV, a Mexico City-based aparthotel operator that manages more than 1,000 units for real estate developers and landlords, has selected Mews as the operating system for its next phase of growth. The move marks a new step in Mews’s expansion in Mexico, with ULIV’s first properties now live.

Founded in 2020 with 20 apartments, ULIV started in Mexico City’s upscale Polanco, Condesa, Roma and Juárez neighborhoods, before expanding to coastal and border hubs including Tijuana and Ensenada. ULIV blends the independence of a furnished apartment with the service and amenities of a boutique hotel. It operates a full-scale property management business, handling everything from dynamic pricing and revenue optimization to guest support and maintenance for its partners.

As ULIV grew beyond short-term rentals into hotel operations, it needed a system built for multiple properties and cities, supporting accommodation, food and beverage and other property operations. ULIV chose Mews for its broader vision: not just a PMS, but an operating system that can grow with the business as it expands into new markets and property types.

Mews lets its Mexico City corporate team manage every property in a single system, which matters for a company that centralizes most operational, financial and administrative work and puts the guest at the center of its operations. Alongside Mews PMS, Channel Manager and RMS, Mews Open APIs let ULIV connect a guest experience app and a task manager, while its data team can extract directly from the API.

“We started with simple technology built for short-term rentals, and as our business grew into hotels we needed a partner that could grow with us,” said Enrique Negrete, Chief Commercial Officer of ULIV. “Mews gives us one system to run multiple properties from our corporate office, and it helps us build everything around the guest, which is one of our five core values. Their willingness to invest in the Mexican market and the detail in their RFP response showed us they were serious about supporting operators like us.”

ULIV’s first properties are now live on Mews, run by its team from its Mexico City corporate office. ULIV expects to bring another 500 to 600 units onto Mews by the first half of 2027, subject to its plans, and aims to reach 3,000 units within a couple of years as it expands across Mexico and into the United States.

For Mews, the partnership builds on a growing presence in Mexico. “Mexico is one of the most dynamic hospitality markets in the world, and ULIV shows where it is heading,” said Michael Coscetta, President of Mews. “They run flex living properties for developers and landlords across multiple cities, and they chose Mews because they want an operating system that grows with them into new markets and property types. I’m proud they chose to build with us, and we’re committed to supporting operators like ULIV across Mexico for the long term.”
