Goons is an analytics dashboard for hotels running Mews. It shows a property how its book is filling, where it will land, and how the whole house is performing — rooms, restaurant and spa on the same screen. Most hotels know their rooms well. The rest of the house is another matter: restaurant, spa and retail sit in separate reports, and are rarely read next to the accommodation figures they depend on. Goons reads them together, because they are produced by the same guests. Goons is built around the book rather than around yesterday. It follows what is on the books day after day, shows the pickup, compares the pace with the same date last year, and projects where each month is heading — early enough to do something about it. The integration reads its data from the Mews Connector API, and only reads: reservations, order items and outlet items over the analytics window, resolved against the property's own services, rates, business segments, room categories, companies and travel agencies. Nothing is written back to Mews. A refresh runs every hour, and a daily snapshot of the book is what makes the pace, the pickup and the year-over-year comparison possible. Reservations also arrive as they happen. The integration subscribes to Mews webhooks, so a booking that is made, changed or canceled is reflected on the dashboard within seconds rather than at the next hourly cycle. Everything comes from Mews on its own. Nothing to export, nothing to re-key, no morning spreadsheet to assemble.
