InnHapp is a guest social networking app that turns a hotel stay into a shared experience. Guests validate their reservation using their Mews confirmation number and instantly gain access to a private, hotel-specific network where they can meet other guests, discover happenings, and chat in real time. The connection between InnHapp and Mews is built on the Mews Connector API. When a guest enters their confirmation number during onboarding, InnHapp verifies it against Mews in real time, confirming the reservation is active and belongs to the property. The integration recognizes both "Confirmed" and "Started" reservation states and supports multiple adult guests sharing a single reservation, so all members of a group can each create their own profile. Property onboarding is handled through the Mews Marketplace. When a property installs InnHapp, Mews delivers an event that triggers InnHapp to retrieve the hotel's configuration — name, address, time zone, and logo — and provision the property automatically. No manual credential setup is required. Access tokens are kept current automatically whenever they are rotated in Mews, so there is no maintenance burden on hotel staff. Inside the app, guests can browse other guests' public profiles, send connection requests, and start one-on-one conversations. They can also discover and join happenings — activities and meetups organized by the hotel or by fellow guests — making it easier to find travel companions for a dinner, a hike, or a local excursion. All of this is scoped to the duration of the stay: profiles, connections, and conversations are removed automatically at checkout, keeping each guest's data private and the platform ready for the next wave of arrivals.
