Resteo is a data analytics platform for hotel-restaurants and restaurants. It connects to Mews to deliver daily and weekly revenue insights via automated email digests and a web dashboard, helping operators compare performance across periods, services, and outlets without manual reporting. The integration uses the Mews Connector API to pull configuration, accounting categories, order items, outlet items, payments, and bills on a six-hour polling schedule. Records are stored in a BigQuery analytics layer and transformed via dbt into unified marts (tickets, ticket items, payments) that combine PMS and POS data into a single revenue view for the property. Operators receive a daily digest summarizing the previous day's revenue, payments, and tax breakdown, alongside week-over-week and year-over-year comparisons. A weekly digest extends the view to seven-day trends and outlet-level performance. The web dashboard adds ad-hoc exploration: revenue by service (lunch, dinner), day type (weekday, weekend), time slot, and accounting category. For hotel-restaurants, Resteo provides a unified revenue picture that combines room revenue, food and beverage from the in-house restaurant, and outlet POS sales (bar, spa, retail). The integration treats outlet revenue as a first-class stream alongside accommodation, which is valuable for properties where food and beverage is a material part of the business. Restaurant groups managing multiple properties can connect each property independently and compare locations side by side. Adding a new property is a configuration step, with no impact on existing connections. Resteo is built and operated by an independent team based in France. It currently serves a portfolio of restaurants in Paris and is expanding to hotel-restaurants through this Mews integration.
